AN2004 Info (By SLing) OK, I'm working on creating a list for our AN2004 group. Basically, this txt file is to discuss logistics and crap. Trust me, you WILL always want to be with someone who has a cell phone. If you get lost from the group without knowing where people are you WILL have a VERY hard time finding people. PLEASE, if you have a cell phone that you can 'liberate' for the weekend, GET IT! You will only ever be using it for short conversations, and it's likely that once we get settled in the con we can arrange meeting times at landmarks -- meaning, cell phones may only be neccessary for friday. Due to security concerns, I'm _NOT_ putting cell phone numbers in this TXT file. Instad, e-mail me your cell phone number if you have it, and sometime before the con I'll make sure to e-mail everyone the numbers. --------------- Rides: This section is basically for people to know how everyone is getting there or getting home. I think this is the most important part of the document because we can arrange rides. Nobody wants to be left behind, or even worse, not have a ride there :P Dumbob, RdKil, SLing, Tenko - Going there with SLing's dad, back with Tenko Cyan, Flat, Phoenix - Cyan's taking Flat's Dad's car Graf - Going with his mom Dan, Dan's Girlfriend - Dan's taking the train to his girlfriend's place and they're going from there Chrissi - Getting a ride from her dad Mona - Taking the bus in If you're in the "no clue" list, please contact me telling me how you'll be getting there, or whether you'll be needing a ride. I think I can fit one more person in my car on the way there, and I'm not sure about Flat. --------------- Meeting up: We're trying to arrange the meetup in the hotel lobby. Graf will arrive at 1, and that sounds like a good time to me. I'm thinking that the latest we'll wait is 1:30, any later than that you'll have to find us yourself :P Dan and his Girlfriend are not arriving at the con until around 4:30, so we're not gonna wait for them (but Dan's bringing a cell) --------------- Stuff: We probably won't have alot of room for lots of crap, so don't bring anything big. For example, Laptops = good, PCs = bad. We're gonna need someone to bring a laptop for camera stuff, I think Tenko might be doing that but I'm not 100% sure. --------------- Other: I can't think of anything else to include in this.
